Nurse Aide
The primary objective of the Nurse Aide program is to provide students with the hands-on training necessary to offer high quality care to patients while working alongside other qualified healthcare professionals.
Course offerings include training in skilled nursing facilities. Students divide their time between classroom and laboratory instructions.
This course will prepare students to sit for the North Carolina State Boards Exam. Students who are successful in the exam will become certified through the state of North Carolina.

MEDICATION AIDE
A certified medication aide is a medical professional with the authority to dispense drugs to patients in various health facilities. Medication aides work in hospitals, assisted living facilities and Nursing Homes.
The medication aide may work under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) on the job. They dispense medication to patients daily and also monitor dosing and drug use.
