CNA 1

Start your nursing journey - comprehensive training for aspiring nurses.

The primary objective of the CNA 1 program is to provide students with the hands-on training necessary to offer high-quality care to patients while working alongside other qualified healthcare professionals.

Course offerings include training in skilled nursing facilities. Students divide their time between classroom and laboratory instructions.

This course will prepare students to sit for the North Carolina State Boards Exam. Students who are successful in the exam will become certified through the state of North Carolina. (It is the responsibility of the student to pay for any exams.)

  • Those who have successfully completed the exam will be listed as a Nurse Aid I on the North Carolina Nurse Aide Registry.
